My interest in helping others came from the education I received at The Urban Assembly New York Harbor School. I learned various interpersonal skills through community interactions and educating the general public on oyster restoration projects being conducted on our premises. Below I am demonstrating the water quality of the New York Harbor and the changes that have been observed over an extended period of time to New York Senator Kristen Gillibrand and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
I pursued my Associate of Arts at Laguardia Community College, majoring in Biology. Achieved my Bachelor’s of Science from Brooklyn College, majoring in Psychology. My passion for helping others has led me to work in the hospitality industry for over 10 years. I began as a Security guard with a private firm whose clientele includes renowned celebrity figures. Here I learned valuable skills in situational awareness and de-escalation of tense situations between guests. Working as a Fire Safety Director at the Gramercy Park Hotel during Hurricane Sandy the experience I gained prior helped navigate guest safely and maintain a level of calmness throughout power outages and heavy wind gusts.
